Low voltage photorefractive polymers
A review and a subsequent suggestion of an optimum low voltage photorefractive polymer was the topic of this project. Various formulations of optically active materilas were reviewed and investigated, mainly second order non linear chromophores. After an exhaustive review, two novel formulations were suggested that would exhibit ultra low sensitivity to low voltage. These photorefractive materials exhibit great potential for applications in 3D holograms, data storage, etc. Excellent review was provided by the client.
